Base Salary
$105k - $155k/yr
Responsibilities
- Research, develop, and optimize AI and machine learning algorithms for Qualcomm Snapdragon platforms.
- Build reference applications demonstrating Snapdragon AI capabilities across mobile, edge, XR, and IoT devices.
- Evaluate hardware and software trade-offs to optimize performance, power efficiency, and user experience.
- Support implementation, optimization, and commercialization of AI algorithms and applications on Snapdragon devices.
- Stay current with advances in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and foundation models.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Strong background in machine learning algorithms, computer vision, multimodal AI, agentic AI, or related fields.
- Proficiency with modern machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Strong software development skills in Python and/or C++.
- Familiarity with embedded development, operating systems concepts, and software development principles.
- Preferred: master's or PhD degree with 0–2 years of relevant professional experience or publications in machine learning, agentic AI, computer vision, video or image processing, NLP, or audio or speech processing.
- Preferred: experience developing and deploying AI solutions in real-world applications and translating algorithms into software for edge devices.
