Base Salary
$250k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own application and product security for the Town assistant and autonomous agent action surface.
- Threat-model autonomous agent behavior, including prompt injection, tool misuse, and untrusted input involving sensitive data and external actions.
- Secure the persistent-user-model data pipeline through encryption, tenant isolation, access controls, and secrets management.
- Harden cloud infrastructure and third-party OAuth integrations, including Google, Slack, and CRM systems.
- Build the secure development lifecycle through design reviews, security-focused code reviews, dependency and supply-chain hygiene, and supporting tooling.
- Establish and run incident response, including detection, triage, and postmortems.
- Partner with engineering to make secure development practices easy to adopt.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in security engineering with depth in application and/or infrastructure security.
- Ability to read and write production code and remediate security problems directly.
- Experience securing a multi-tenant SaaS product handling sensitive user data at scale.
- Practical knowledge of cloud security, authentication and authorization, secrets, and encryption.
- Ability to threat-model effectively and communicate risk to engineers and founders.
- Interest in owning security from the ground up in a startup environment.
