Responsibilities
- Contribute to the control and data planes of custom network infrastructure.
- Develop and manage operating systems and APIs for Cloudflare products.
- Enable customer connectivity over private and high-speed data center interconnects.
- Collaborate with engineers and product managers to build robust automated systems.
- Work on software that drives significant customer traffic across the network.
Requirements
- 3 years of relevant Software Engineering or SRE experience.
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in Rust programming.
- Experience with Linux networking primitives.
- Familiarity with network engineering tools and protocols.
- Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs.
- Experience with running virtual machines on Linux.
- Ability to work across teams and develop sustainable solutions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
