Responsibilities
- Engage customers during presales to gather requirements and explain Canonical technology.
- Develop solutions for prospective clients.
- Participate in delivery of selected Embedded Linux projects.
- Convey market requirements to internal stakeholders and help develop or refine generic solutions.
- Act as a customer advocate and trusted advisor to Canonical customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Extensive Linux experience, preferably with Debian or Ubuntu.
- Solid embedded Linux experience with technologies such as Yocto or Buildroot, or experience with an RTOS.
- Fluency in at least one of Golang, Python, C, C++, or Rust.
- Professional written and spoken English plus the local language.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to multitask and meet commitments.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% for customer meetings, company events, and conferences.
- For positions in Japan and Korea, professional-level written and spoken proficiency in the local language is required.
- Customer engagement experience is a plus but not required.
