DevSecOps Intern (Energy Transition): Nov/Dec 2026 intake
GE VernovaResponsibilities
- Integrate cybersecurity into CI/CD pipelines and software lifecycles.
- Support the configuration and implementation of utility-grade software platforms.
- Work with engineers to identify risks and automate operational efficiency.
- Gain hands-on exposure to software platforms operating across OT and IT environments.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in Computer Science, Engineering, or IT, including eligible double-degree programs.
- Minimum 75% WAM.
- Strong interest in DevSecOps, DERMS, and grid-management technology.
- Ability to commit for at least six months, working three days per week during semesters or five days per week during semester breaks.
- Previous cybersecurity vacation or internship experience in a utility, electricity, energy, or critical-infrastructure organization is advantageous.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, Python, Bash, Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms is advantageous.
- Knowledge of OT/ICS security or SCADA systems is advantageous.
