Responsibilities

  • Collaborate proactively with a distributed team.
  • Write high-quality content to promote and support community initiatives.
  • Discuss ideas and collaborate on finding solutions to community problems.
  • Engage with the Ubuntu community through various platforms.
  • Represent Ubuntu via speaking engagements at events and conferences.
  • Support volunteer developers and help them create successful tools.

Requirements

  • Experience with developer tools and open source projects.
  • Interest in Ubuntu Linux, DevOps, software development, testing, and QA.
  • Ability to work autonomously and assume full ownership of objectives.
  • Experience working with open source communities and understanding volunteer workflows.
  • A clear public record of accomplishments in the tech community.
