Base Salary
$120k - $140k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement software controlling ground-station hardware, embedded systems, and RF modems.
- Architect and optimize high-bandwidth, low-latency data pipelines and data distribution across ground stations and end environments.
- Design distributed systems and cloud/on-premises orchestration for the global ground network.
- Develop inter-service communication, customer and internal APIs, front-end interfaces, databases, and ETL-backed data systems.
- Create monitoring, alerting, telemetry, and predictive diagnostic capabilities for software and infrastructure.
- Build secure and reliable deployment infrastructure and pipelines for continuous software delivery.
- Develop production-line bring-up software and automate hardware and software testing alongside mechanical, RF, electrical, FPGA, and software engineers.
- Create simulations and orchestration software for satellite, network, antenna, and data-plane performance validation.
Requirements
- 0–2 years of professional software development experience, including experience from internships, classroom projects, or personal projects.
- Completed bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math, or a related major, or equivalent explanation and experience in place of a degree.
- Proficiency in one or more of Rust, Golang, Haskell, or C/C++, or another language suitable for distributed systems or high-performance computing.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Must meet applicable U.S. Government space technology export requirements, including U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residency, protected-individual status, or eligibility for required authorizations.
