Responsibilities
- Design and implement product configuration solutions using PL/SQL, Core Java, and Calypso.
- Configure and maintain product attributes, workflows, pricing rules, trade workflows, risk parameters, and reference data.
- Develop and optimize PL/SQL procedures, functions, and queries for performance, data integrity, and reliability.
- Build reusable Core Java components that integrate with configuration engines and upstream systems.
- Translate cards and payments requirements into configuration specifications and technical implementation plans.
- Perform impact analysis, configuration reviews, code walkthroughs, peer validations, and configuration testing.
- Create configuration documentation, design records, parameter mappings, and operational runbooks.
- Investigate and resolve configuration incidents by analyzing logs, database traces, and transaction flows.
- Support release-cycle configuration deployments and continuous improvement of configuration frameworks, automation utilities, and monitoring dashboards.
Requirements
- Six to nine years of professional experience in product configuration or similar roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with PL/SQL and Core Java in enterprise financial environments.
- Practical experience configuring Calypso, including trade workflows, risk parameters, and reference data management.
- Working knowledge of cards and payments, including authorization, settlement, dispute handling, and compliance concepts.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment and coordinate with distributed teams.
- Commitment to quality, security, audit requirements, ethical standards, and customer-data protection.
- Preferred certifications include Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate and Oracle Certified Professional Java SE Programmer credentials.
