Responsibilities
- Lead the technical design and delivery of scalable full-stack solutions using C#/.NET and Next.js/React.
- Shape architecture and engineering strategy across applications, APIs, integration patterns, and cloud platforms.
- Partner with engineering, product, platform, security, and business stakeholders to translate complex needs into pragmatic solutions.
- Improve engineering quality through reusable patterns, code reviews, test automation, observability, security, and operational excellence.
- Mentor senior engineers and facilitate technical decision-making and alignment across teams without formal authority.
- Own complex production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and deliver systemic improvements that reduce recurrence and operational risk.
- Define engineering standards, evaluate trade-offs, simplify complex designs, and guide solutions from discovery through production.
- Integrate security controls into delivery processes and remediate vulnerabilities.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, including significant experience leading complex systems and influencing outcomes across teams.
- Extensive experience designing, deploying, and operating cloud-native workloads on AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.
- Strong understanding of identity and access management, networking, secrets management, high availability, resilience, scalability, performance, and cost optimization.
- Experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Azure Bicep, or equivalent.
- Expert-level experience with C#, .NET, and ASP.NET Core for secure, scalable APIs and backend services.
- Strong hands-on experience with Next.js, React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, integration patterns, asynchronous processing, data modeling, and RESTful API design.
- Strong testing discipline across unit, integration, contract, end-to-end, and performance testing.
- Advanced debugging, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills across full-stack and distributed environments.
- Experience with AWS services including ECS/EKS, Lambda, Application Load Balancer, API Gateway, Aurora PostgreSQL/RDS, S3, IAM, and CloudWatch.
- Strong understanding of secure software development, threat-aware design, secrets handling, dependency governance, and least-privilege access.
- Experience using tools such as Snyk, Wiz, or equivalent to support vulnerability remediation.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
