Responsibilities
- Execute configuration changes, application and platform releases, upgrades, cutovers, rollbacks, packaging and promotion, regional rollouts, and post-deployment validation across production and lower environments.
- Provide day-to-day production support, incident troubleshooting, controlled restarts, environment readiness, runbook maintenance, and knowledge transfer.
- Provision, standardize, and support user endpoint devices, applications, VDI, and virtual desktops.
- Improve data and systems at scale through technical problem-solving, end-to-end application monitoring, issue resolution, and appropriate escalation.
- Manage capacity processes by identifying recurring risks, governing remediation status, and improving monitoring, analysis, and documentation workflows.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to accelerate infrastructure workflows while validating outputs and protecting sensitive operational data.
- Coordinate with engineering, SRE, infrastructure, networking, release management, and support teams within change-management and release-governance practices.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in infrastructure engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience.
- Experience supporting enterprise application platforms across production and non-production environments.
- Experience with controlled deployments, service restarts, version upgrades, rollback-aware changes, and operational procedures.
- Experience operating and troubleshooting application-hosting infrastructure on Windows and/or Linux servers.
- Experience maintaining runbooks, release steps, and operational procedures to improve repeatability and reduce risk.
- Experience diagnosing and resolving platform or service incidents under time pressure.
- Experience using Jira, Confluence, operational tooling, and enterprise-authorized AI capabilities with strong validation and data-sensitivity awareness.
- Preferred experience operating across AWS, GCP, and Azure, including public-to-private cloud migrations.
- Preferred experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools including Ansible, Jenkins, TeamCity, Harness.io, and Azure DevOps.
