Responsibilities
- Review product design and suggest improvements from a testability and user perspective.
- Design and deliver effective and automatable test plans.
- Write test automation that executes on large parallelized CI/CD infrastructure.
- Be an effective code reviewer for automation and product code.
- Analyze and recommend the right tools for automation.
- Simulate negative scenarios and perform chaos testing.
- Handle customer escalations and perform root cause analysis.
- Work closely with development teams and stakeholders throughout product development.
- Adapt to fast-moving environments and learn the domain deeply.
- Handle on-call responsibilities.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience, preferably a mix of SDET and product testing.
- Strong expertise in programming languages like Python, Java, or Go.
- Experience in designing test frameworks.
- Strong expertise in RESTful Web Service automation.
- Deep knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.
- System/server side experience for troubleshooting and strong knowledge of Linux.
- Understanding of technologies like Redis, Kafka, and NoSQL databases.
- Good working experience in CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Spinnaker.
- Experience with cloud-based products addressing reliability and scale issues.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted platforms for automation code generation.
- Working knowledge of git or other version control tools.
