Responsibilities
- Build reusable component libraries and user interface patterns for the Primary+ application.
- Implement responsive and accessible WCAG-compliant interfaces.
- Optimize rendering, bundle size, caching, and performance budgets.
- Create unit, integration, and end-to-end tests and maintain CI pipelines.
- Conduct code reviews, pair programming, mentoring, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
- Partner with product, backend, and QA teams to shape features and releases.
- Implement functional and data requirements with Debt Capital Markets stakeholders and technical leadership.
- Provide time-critical third-line support during live transactions and releases, including occasional weekend support.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience spanning front-end development through backend database design.
- Experience across the software development life cycle with formal release procedures and source control.
- Strong knowledge of web application architecture, design patterns, and single-page application architecture.
- Experience with React, Redux Toolkit, ECMAScript 6, TypeScript, and CSS.
- Effective use of GitHub or an equivalent source code repository tool.
- Ability to create and tune complex SQL queries and perform SQL performance tuning.
- Experience applying Test Driven Development and Behavior Driven Development practices.
- Experience building or supporting microservices using frameworks such as Vert.x.
