Responsibilities
- Design and build custom solutions for complex infrastructure and reliability problems.
- Deploy and maintain production-grade Kubernetes clusters and workloads.
- Build reusable infrastructure automation using Pulumi, Terraform, and Ansible.
- Debug, improve, and automate CI/CD pipelines end to end.
- Develop scalable automation software in Golang and/or Python.
- Work cross-functionally with developers and product teams to improve delivery velocity without sacrificing stability or security.
- Apply software engineering principles to system scalability, resilience, observability, and incident response.
Requirements
- Strong production Kubernetes experience; self-hosted Kubernetes experience is a bonus.
- Experience with infrastructure as code using Pulumi with TypeScript, Terraform, and Ansible.
- Deep experience with Azure preferred; AWS or GCP experience is also acceptable.
- Software engineering experience in Golang and/or Python beyond scripting alone.
- Understanding of system performance, observability, and incident response processes.
- English proficiency at B2+/C1 level.
- Ability to own outcomes, work independently amid ambiguity, and recommend practical alternatives.
- Experience in regulated environments such as ISO 27001 or SOC 2 is preferred.
- Prior experience supporting development teams as a DevOps or SRE is preferred.
