Responsibilities
- Write, maintain, and execute test cases for studio games across mobile and web platforms.
- Perform functional and non-functional testing of mobile applications.
- Collaborate closely with Scrum teams, Producers, Developers, and QA Leads/Managers.
- Communicate proactively with Developers and business stakeholders during defect triage.
- Conduct root cause analysis for defects and provide corrective and preventive action plans.
- Work effectively in an Agile environment to support timely product delivery.
- Identify quality trade-offs, project risks, and appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Create and maintain QA documentation, including test cases and test plans.
- Mentor junior QA team members and support their technical growth.
- Partner with the QA Lead to improve QA processes and release quality.
Requirements
- 4–7 years of experience in software testing, preferably in mobile, web, or gaming products.
- Strong familiarity with mobile and web platforms from a QA perspective.
- Good understanding of client-server architecture, APIs, and network debugging.
- Hands-on experience in test design, execution, and defect reporting.
- Strong exploratory testing skills and ability to select appropriate test approaches.
- Experience using QA tools such as Jira, TestRail, and browser developer tools.
- Ability to create clear and comprehensive QA documentation.
- Good understanding of software testing processes, SDLC/STLC, and Agile methodologies.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
- Strong communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
