Base Salary
$143k - $304k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define architecture and technical strategy for intelligent, globally distributed Dynamics 365 Contact Center services.
- Lead implementation of critical platform components and produce high-quality production code for distributed systems.
- Provide technical leadership for applied AI systems, including model and framework selection, evaluation, grounding, orchestration, responsible AI controls, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
- Own quality, security, compliance, deployment, observability, incident response, and safe rollout practices.
- Lead high-severity live-site and customer issue resolution, root-cause analysis, and systemic prevention.
- Mentor engineers, review architecture and code, establish reusable patterns, and raise engineering standards across teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 6+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree with 8+ years of experience, or a bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of experience, or equivalent experience.
- Experience architecting and delivering large-scale production cloud services with technical leadership across multiple teams or complex dependencies.
- Experience designing and troubleshooting scalable, resilient, event-driven systems, including asynchronous processing, observability, audio streaming, recording, and media-processing workflows.
- Experience using GitHub Copilot and Claude for implementation, debugging, code reviews, prototyping, experiments, and end-to-end test scenarios.
- Experience diagnosing cross-service failures using logs, telemetry, correlation IDs, and distributed traces, supported by unit, integration, functional, and end-to-end testing.
- Expertise in WebSockets, gRPC, GitHub-based CI/CD workflows, and Azure Service Fabric.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
Benefits
- The typical U.S. base pay range is USD $142,800–$274,800 per year; different ranges apply in the San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metropolitan area.
- Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
- The position is open for a minimum of 5 days and accepts applications on an ongoing basis until filled.
