Responsibilities
- Handle or support stakeholder requirements elicitation, decomposition, allocation, impact analysis, interface and constraint specification, compliance, and prioritization.
- Design embedded software from system level through software-component level, including static and dynamic design.
- Develop, configure, and integrate software using model-based development practices.
- Perform system, system-integration, software-integration, component, static, and dynamic testing in HiL and SiL environments.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and manage baselines and variants to preserve traceability across requirements, work products, and test reports.
- Identify, record, analyze, and troubleshoot problems found during testing.
- Report work status and escalate project barriers to the project manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or a relevant field.
- 4–6 years of relevant experience with strong knowledge of embedded software and system development.
- Strong understanding of hardware-software interfaces and software/system configuration.
- Proficiency in Embedded C and ability to write clean, structured, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Experience with Python or Perl, including data-processing libraries such as Pandas and frameworks such as Django.
- Experience with HiL testing and automated test tools.
- Practical embedded-development experience with V-Model or Agile/Kanban processes.
- Proven experience with Git, Git Actions, and Jenkins.
- Awareness of AUTOSAR, ISO 26262, cybersecurity, CAN, LIN, UDS, OBD, and ASPICE.
- Practical ability to use AI effectively for research and self-study.
- Experience with SiL and model-based development is preferred.
- Communication and presentation skills are preferred.
- Experience with C# and .NET is preferred.
