Base Salary
$158k - $245k/yr
Responsibilities
- Enhance developer productivity by using AI and machine learning to streamline workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and improve code quality.
- Design, implement, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines to reduce build times and increase deployment frequency.
- Build and maintain scalable internal developer platforms and tooling, including messaging platforms, observability systems, and workflow automation tools.
- Improve infrastructure reliability through monitoring, alerting, incident management, on-call participation, and P1/P2 postmortems.
- Partner with engineering teams to identify productivity bottlenecks, gather requirements, and deliver measurable developer experience improvements.
- Use metrics such as build times, deployment frequency, and developer satisfaction to guide improvements.
- Write clean, well-tested code, conduct code reviews, and contribute to technical standards, documentation, and best practices.
- Champion quality gates including 80% unit-test and integration-test coverage and change management standards.
Requirements
- Experience designing and developing large-scale distributed, high-concurrency, high-load, and high-availability systems.
- Mastery of common server technologies for optimizing service response and data queries and solving high-concurrency and high-availability challenges.
- Strong proficiency in backend languages such as Python, Java, Go, Kotlin, Rust, or Node.js and their corresponding frameworks.
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, including CI/CD pipelines, developer tooling, or platform infrastructure at scale.
- Track record of technical leadership, architectural decision-making, and cross-team mentoring.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Aliyun and infrastructure tools including Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Strong system design skills and the ability to own technology strategy and make architectural decisions balancing performance, scalability, maintainability, and cost.
- Ability to review RFCs and provide deep insights into high-quality system designs.
- Preferred: experience with AI/ML tools or LLM integration for developer workflows, automated code review, or engineering productivity.
- Preferred: familiarity with AI-powered development tools such as Cursor or Copilot.
- Preferred: experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, or ELK stack.
- Preferred: production infrastructure operations and strong incident response experience.
- Preferred: platform engineering or developer experience experience, preferably in a technology or fintech company, with data-driven developer productivity measurement.
