Responsibilities
- Define detailed requirements for software components and systems.
- Design and implement software components.
- Verify and test developed software.
- Release and support delivered software components.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of software engineering experience.
- Knowledge of software development methodologies, object-oriented design and programming, and Linux.
- Knowledge of JavaScript, Python, C, C++, Java, and Rust.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or computer science.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Database knowledge including SQL, Oracle, Redis, or MongoDB is desired.
- Knowledge of Docker and containerization technologies is desired.
- Knowledge of the railway traffic management domain is desired.
- Ability to work in a team environment is desired.
Benefits
- Full-time, on-site position in Genoa, Italy.
- Annual gross salary ranging from €35,000 to €46,200.
- The position is covered by the applicable Italian private metalworking industry collective labor agreement, classified at level B2.
