Base Salary
$176k - $260k/yr
Responsibilities
- Designs and develops scalable, resilient systems using Java or Python.
- Executes software design, development, debugging, technical troubleshooting, and production maintenance.
- Creates secure, high-quality production code and contributes to application architecture and design artifacts.
- Analyzes large and diverse data sets to identify patterns and improve software applications, coding hygiene, and system architecture.
- Designs and implements blockchain-based solutions, including smart contracts and decentralized applications on public chains such as Ethereum.
- Uses AWS cloud services to architect, deploy, and manage scalable applications.
- Leads adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering tools for coding, code review, testing, troubleshooting, and incident analysis.
- Defines validation standards for AI-assisted outputs, including secure coding, peer review, automated testing, correctness, performance, and security.
- Promotes responsible AI use and coaches engineers on secure, compliant engineering workflows.
- Participates in software engineering communities of practice and emerging-technology events.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied coding experience in Java or Python.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming and database querying languages.
- Knowledge of the software development life cycle and agile engineering practices.
- Experience with blockchain technologies, including public chains such as Ethereum.
- Experience with AWS cloud services.
- Experience leading the effective use of approved AI-assisted software development tools and validating their outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs and outputs, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Preferred experience includes modern front-end technologies, cloud technologies, smart contracts, decentralized applications, CI/CD pipeline design, Terraform, and infrastructure as code.
