Responsibilities
- Build, optimize, and manage Kubernetes clusters and cloud resources.
- Support secure edge-to-cloud solutions for industrial devices, gateways, analytics services, and cloud applications.
- Build and improve CI/CD, GitOps, and Infrastructure-as-Code workflows for secure, reliable, repeatable software delivery.
- Develop, maintain, document, improve, and validate engineering artifacts and operational procedures.
- Partner with cybersecurity, architecture, product, and software development teams to deliver scalable and secure cloud solutions.
- Collaborate with global engineering teams on strategic platform initiatives within Agile development activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least five years of experience with large-scale infrastructure systems in a production environment.
- Proficiency in modern programming and scripting languages such as Go, Python, Bash, C#, Java, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Proficiency with Kubernetes cluster lifecycle management, networking, and upgrades, plus Docker and containerization technologies.
- Proficiency with Terraform and reusable infrastructure-as-code modules, code review, environment promotion, and automated provisioning.
- Experience working with global teams within an Agile development framework.
- Proficiency developing or maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Argo CD, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of network architecture and security protocols is preferred.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with Azure, AWS, GCP, performance and scalability optimization, service discovery, load balancing, GitOps, DevSecOps, industrial cybersecurity standards, cloud backup and disaster recovery, and SAFe.
