Base Salary
$215k - $246k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deliver machine learning models and components for real-world business problems.
- Develop and validate ML models, application code, automated tests, and deployment processes.
- Retrain, maintain, monitor, and operate machine learning models and services in production.
- Build cloud-based architectures and platforms for optimized ML models at scale.
- Construct and scale data pipelines for training and evaluating ML models.
- Apply testing, deployment, monitoring, governance, security, Responsible AI, and Explainable AI practices.
- Collaborate with Product, Data Science, and cross-functional engineering teams to enhance big data and ML applications.
- Provide technical leadership in developing ML solutions using industry best practices and automation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field.
- At least 4 years of programming experience with Python, Java, Golang, or C++.
- At least 4 years of machine learning experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow and libraries including Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn.
- At least 4 years of experience operating large-scale distributed systems such as Spark and Ray for AI or ML data preparation.
- At least 2 years of experience deploying and operating ML solutions in production, operating cloud production services, and using Kubernetes for large-scale containerized ML systems.
- Preferred qualifications include a master's or doctoral degree, 3+ years optimizing ML algorithms and infrastructure, and 3+ years applying software development and resilient production-delivery practices.
- Preferred qualifications include 3+ years working with ML techniques, architectures, training concepts, evaluation, and production data pipelines.
- Preferred qualifications include at least 1 year as a technical lead developing ML solutions and authorship or co-authorship of an ML-related paper.
