Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable solutions while considering system-wide impacts.
- Own significant features from conception through implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Estimate, plan, track, and manage progress, risks, and dependencies with senior engineers.
- Gather and refine requirements and release software in a timely manner.
- Identify, reproduce, and remediate bugs with the technical support team.
- Build features using agentic tooling and improve custom skills, agents, and harnesses.
- Contribute prompts, skills, and workflow improvements to the AI-enabled developer experience.
Requirements
- BSc or MSc in Computer Science or a related qualification, or equivalent commercial programming experience.
- At least two years of hands-on commercial experience developing on the .NET platform with C#, including ASP.NET MVC.
- Experience with object-oriented design, design patterns, refactoring, Web API, database design, and development.
- Hands-on experience with HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and jQuery.
- Practical experience with AI coding assistants and agentic engineering workflows.
- Experience with cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Experience with source control tools including TFS, SVN, or Git.
- Legal right to work in the UK.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Desirable experience includes Azure Functions and Queues, custom agent skills, harnesses, MCP servers, prompt libraries, AI code evaluations and guardrails, testing methodologies, Lean software development, CI/CD, Bootstrap, .NET Core, Entity Framework Code First migrations, Claude or Claude Code, and financial services.
