Base Salary

$122k - $181k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop factory and online calibration algorithms for sensors and displays.
  • Design and prototype calibration automation with mechanical engineers and prototyping technicians.
  • Collaborate with Reality Labs computer vision, graphics, engineering, and research teams.
  • Conduct advanced computer vision research applicable to wearable and VR product development.
  • Work with engineers to bring new products to market.
  • Contribute to engineering best practices, code quality standards, and team technical culture.

Requirements

  • Currently hold or be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a relevant technical field, completed before joining Meta, or have equivalent practical experience.
  • Have at least two years of experience developing and designing computer vision and perception algorithms for robotics technologies and systems.
  • Have experience developing in C++.
  • Have prototyping and engineering experience in at least one relevant area, including camera calibration, online calibration, state estimation, sensor fusion, 3D reconstruction, camera pose estimation, or structure-from-motion.
  • Preferred: master’s or PhD in computer science, computer vision, robotics, or a related technical field.
  • Preferred: publication record at conferences such as SIGGRAPH, CVPR, NeurIPS, ECCV, ICCV, ISMAR, ICML, RSS, ICRA, or IROS.
  • Preferred: industry experience with camera calibration, online calibration, state estimation, sensor fusion, 3D reconstruction, camera pose estimation, or structure-from-motion.

Benefits

  • Annual base salary of $121,992 to $181,000, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
  • Work on mixed-reality, VR, and wearable products within Meta’s Reality Labs organization.
