Senior Software Engineer, AI Platform

Responsibilities
- Build and productize reusable AI platform capabilities for other engineering teams.
- Own backend services, APIs, and integrations primarily in TypeScript, using Go where needed.
- Deliver full-stack features that connect AI capabilities to React and Next.js product experiences.
- Improve scalability, reliability, and performance through architecture, testing, troubleshooting, and on-call participation after ramping.
- Use coding agents to accelerate delivery while maintaining ownership of planning, code quality, review, and validation.
- Collaborate across engineering, product, and design while communicating proactively and sharing ownership.
Requirements
- Senior-level experience shipping and owning production software at scale.
- Hands-on applied generative AI engineering experience building intelligence layers or AI-enabled products.
- Strong backend engineering and API design skills in TypeScript or another transferable language.
- Full-stack capability, including building and maintaining modern web interfaces.
- Sound system design judgment across scalability, reliability, performance, and engineering tradeoffs.
- High autonomy, accountability, clear communication, and sound decision-making in ambiguous environments.
- Preferred: experience with Python and/or Go, AI evaluations, integrity systems, recommendation capabilities, startup environments, early-stage platform productization, financial services, fintech, or data-intensive products.
