Base Salary
$110k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable software solutions aligned with business requirements and security standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify needs, influence technical outcomes, and align technical and business objectives.
- Guide coding practices, frameworks, and platforms to improve scalability, maintainability, and security compliance.
- Drive automation of repetitive tasks within continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
- Develop and oversee security and performance testing strategies, defect management, and corrective actions.
- Monitor application performance and maintain system integrity and operational effectiveness.
- Mentor, coach, and guide engineering teams on technical excellence and best practices.
- Support network segmentation, infrastructure security, cloud automation, audit compliance, and strategic security architecture initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, information systems, cybersecurity, or a related area plus five years of software engineering or related experience, or seven years of software engineering or related experience without the degree.
- Extensive stakeholder-management experience and the ability to align technical and business objectives.
- Expertise designing scalable, secure software solutions with strong knowledge of security technologies and infrastructure security.
- Proficiency with coding standards, frameworks, and platforms such as Microsoft Azure.
- Strong experience with test-strategy development, defect management, and continuous integration and delivery processes.
- Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into effective technical designs and solutions.
- Demonstrated leadership in mentoring, coaching, and developing engineering teams.
- Preferred qualifications include Security+, GISF, CISSP, CCSP, or GSEC certification; a master's degree; and three years leading information-security or cybersecurity projects.
- Preferred accessibility experience includes WCAG 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility practices.
