Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain integrations using webMethods Integration Server 10.x and webMethods.io.
- Create and enhance Flow Services, Java Services, and Adapter Services.
- Develop and consume RESTful and SOAP web services.
- Create, secure, and manage APIs using webMethods API Gateway and Developer Portal.
- Implement B2B integrations using Trading Networks and EDI standards including X12 and EDIFACT.
- Integrate with databases, SOAP and RESTful APIs, MQ, and other backend services.
- Analyze technical requirements and issues and apply API testing and software development best practices.
Requirements
- Experience with webMethods 10.x, webMethods.io, webMethods API Gateway, and Developer Portal.
- Experience working with JSON, REST, SOAP, SQL, and API contracts using YAML.
- Knowledge of API-led connectivity, synchronous and asynchronous integration, publish-subscribe, and batch integration patterns.
- Experience integrating with NoSQL and SQL databases, SOAP and RESTful APIs, and MQ.
- Experience using Jira, Azure DevOps, and Postman.
- Working knowledge of AWS or Azure.
- Understanding of API testing, clean and reusable code, design principles, technology standards, and software development lifecycle methodologies including Agile and Waterfall.
