Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain integrations using webMethods Integration Server and webMethods.io.
- Create and enhance Flow Services, Java Services, and Adapter Services.
- Develop and consume RESTful and SOAP web services.
- Create, secure, and manage APIs using webMethods API Gateway and Developer Portal.
- Implement B2B integrations using Trading Networks and EDI standards including X12 and EDIFACT.
- Integrate backend services such as SQL and NoSQL databases, SOAP and REST APIs, and MQ.
- Apply API-led connectivity, synchronous and asynchronous processing, publish-subscribe, and batch integration patterns.
- Analyze technical requirements and issues and perform API testing.
Requirements
- Experience developing services with webMethods 10.x and webMethods.io.
- Experience configuring APIs and policies in webMethods API Gateway and Developer Portal.
- Experience with JSON, REST, SOAP, and SQL.
- Knowledge of REST API best practices and API contracts using YAML.
- Experience with integration tools including Jira, Azure DevOps, and Postman.
- Working knowledge of AWS or Azure.
- Understanding of API testing, clean and reusable code, software development best practices, and technology standards.
- Understanding of Agile and Waterfall SDLC methodologies.
