Base Salary
$128k - $213k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and optimize enterprise Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, SOQL, and Platform Events.
- Design and build Java Spring Boot APIs and microservices connecting Salesforce with enterprise systems.
- Develop integrations using REST, SOAP, event-driven patterns, and middleware technologies.
- Lead technical design and code reviews while establishing architecture, security, testing, observability, and performance standards.
- Create reusable frameworks, components, and patterns to improve developer productivity and platform maintainability.
- Translate business objectives into scalable technical solutions and communicate technical tradeoffs.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews, architecture coaching, pairing, and knowledge sharing.
- Drive source control, automated testing, CI/CD, release automation, and environment management practices.
- Improve platform reliability, scalability, developer experience, and delivery velocity.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience designing and developing complex applications on the Salesforce platform.
- Advanced expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOSL, Salesforce Flow, and platform architecture.
- Strong experience building and supporting production-grade APIs and services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Deep understanding of Salesforce security, sharing models, data architecture, governor limits, and integration patterns.
- Experience designing scalable, maintainable, fault-tolerant, and high-performance solutions.
- Proficiency with Git, automated testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and modern engineering practices.
- Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor engineers.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, ownership, and judgment skills.
- Experience working in Agile, product-oriented engineering teams.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Preferred Salesforce certifications include Platform Developer I/II, Application Architect, System Architect, or Integration Architect.
- Preferred experience includes Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, enterprise-scale Salesforce implementations, MuleSoft or other integration and API management platforms, AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, event-driven architectures, distributed systems, and enterprise integration patterns.
