$156k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Act as a technical subject matter expert for Kubernetes, container orchestration, cloud-native infrastructure, and multi-cloud strategies.
- Lead technical discovery and high-stakes proofs of concept for cloud-native customers and enterprises undergoing digital transformation.
- Build cloud-native ROI models and support sales positioning against competing cloud-native tools.
- Consult with platform teams on CI/CD, GitOps, observability-as-code, SLOs, error budgets, and SRE maturity.
- Design and explain integrations involving Kubernetes, OpenTelemetry, service meshes, serverless platforms, and eBPF technologies.
- Conduct cloud-native maturity workshops focused on scaling, pod-level resource optimization, and cost-aware infrastructure management.
- Partner with Global Sales and Customer Success teams and communicate technical and business value to executive stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, DevOps, or SRE, including at least 3 years focused on Kubernetes and containerized workloads.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Expert-level knowledge of at least one major cloud provider, including managed Kubernetes and serverless offerings.
- Deep understanding of container runtimes, ingress controllers, service discovery, service mesh architectures, and sidecar patterns.
- Proficiency with Terraform, Helm, and YAML.
- Ability to read and write code in Go, Java, or Node.js for microservices troubleshooting.
- Ability to explain MTTR, deployment frequency, and other business impacts to executive stakeholders.
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer certification preferred.
- Experience with eBPF-based monitoring tools, FinOps principles, and CNCF or open-source participation preferred.

- Base salary range is $156,000–$195,000.
