Responsibilities

  • Design and build AI automation solutions using Azure AI Foundry, including model orchestration, vector search, secure prompt pipelines, and evaluation tooling.
  • Develop and maintain Python-based AI services integrated with Foundry workflows, AI hubs, models, and datasets.
  • Create reusable AI components, engineering patterns, guidelines, and technical standards for other squads.
  • Deliver intelligent automation for repetitive internal processes, including document understanding, NLP workflows, agentic automation, and RAG.
  • Integrate AI solutions with enterprise systems through secure APIs, microservices, and Python automation scripts.
  • Build pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, embeddings, and vector search.
  • Partner with Payroll and Product SMEs to identify opportunities and translate business challenges into technical requirements and AI designs.
  • Lead discussions on AI architecture, responsible AI, performance optimization, model evaluation, governance, and safe deployment.
  • Apply version control, testing, observability, monitoring, secure development, telemetry, and traceability practices.
  • Participate in post-incident reviews, monitor emerging Azure Foundry capabilities, and recommend safe adoption paths.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical discipline.
  • At least 6 years of professional software engineering experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience delivering AI or machine-learning solutions in a production or enterprise environment.
  • Proven experience with Azure AI Foundry or comparable Azure AI/ML platform services.
  • Ability to develop Python services and automation, integrate enterprise systems, and build data and vector-search pipelines.
  • Experience applying responsible AI guardrails, content safety, grounding checks, observability, monitoring, and secure identity practices.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
