Base Salary
$209k - $429k/yr
Responsibilities
- Set the technical vision and multi-year roadmap for the Notifications & Growth Platform organization.
- Lead cross-functional delivery of notifications, in-app growth experiences, and internationalized experiences with Product, Data Science, Design, and engineering teams.
- Make architectural decisions for orchestration, targeting hooks, scheduling, and multi-channel delivery systems.
- Define success metrics and operating cadence for engagement, delivery success, latency, reliability, cost, and adoption, and drive improvements against organizational OKRs.
- Use AI to accelerate exploration, drafting, analysis, and synthesis while validating outputs and maintaining accountability for decisions and deliverables.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, including meaningful experience as a Staff, Senior Staff, or equivalent-level individual contributor building and operating complex production systems.
- Proven technical leadership across multiple services and teams, including delivery of organization-critical initiatives.
- Strong communication skills and ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with notifications and growth platforms is a strong plus.
- Ability to analyze data and identify opportunities to drive user growth is a strong plus.
- Demonstrated ability to use AI to improve day-to-day speed and quality, with strong evaluation, verification, data protection, and ownership practices.
