Base Salary
$127k - $171k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define requirements and develop software architecture and system-level designs for P-8 mission systems.
- Design, develop, analyze, and maintain software systems meeting customer, quality, safety, security, and certification standards.
- Translate system-level requirements into traceable software requirements and models.
- Perform software system analyses, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation actions.
- Conduct code reviews and monitor testing, verification, and issue resolution.
- Develop user documentation and training materials.
- Review products and processes against project plans and industry standards, including supplier performance.
- Perform software project management and software supplier management activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, mathematics, data science, or computer science, with 3 or more years of engineering work experience.
- US citizenship is required.
- Ability to obtain a Secret U.S. security clearance is required.
- Experience with software systems architecture, software requirements writing, and interface design and control documents.
- Preferred experience includes troubleshooting hardware and software issues, use case development, contractual deliverables, user interface design, weapons integration, governmental regulations, product development life cycles, requirements change control, aircraft or product certification, requirements traceability, and software validation and verification.
- Preferred scripting languages include XML, Perl, and Python.
