Base Salary
$51k - $82k/yr
Responsibilities
- Perform systems modeling, simulation, and analysis for telemetry, tracking, and command software solutions.
- Gather software requirements and design, develop, troubleshoot, and analyze software programs that operate with hardware systems.
- Document new and existing programs and maintain program libraries and manuals.
- Customize purchased applications based on research and customer needs.
- Report software and hardware status and availability to management.
- Provide hands-on first-level support to customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or a related technical field.
- Two years of relevant experience in software engineering or a related area.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
- U.S. citizenship with proof of citizenship.
- Ability to maintain access to the government worksite.
- Desired experience with OpenVMS, Linux, or Windows operating systems; SQL databases; Ada, C++, or Java; and software design principles.
- Ability to work in a team environment and demonstrate analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and customer-interaction skills.
