Base Salary
$159k - $213k/yr
Responsibilities
- Recognize and safely use attacker tools, tactics, and procedures.
- Develop scripts, tools, and methodologies to enhance red-team capabilities.
- Collaborate with data scientists to develop and test detections for complex exploitation patterns.
- Build attack simulations to validate tools and techniques.
- Advise broader teams on current threat landscape, tools, and techniques.
- Detonate and analyze malware behavioral patterns.
- Create intellectual property, influence others, and demonstrate creativity and self-criticism.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or 2+ years of IT security experience.
- Knowledge of networking protocols including HTTP, DNS, and TCP/IP.
- Knowledge of industry security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques.
- Preferred: 2+ years of scripting, programming, or security code review in a common language.
- Preferred: command-line troubleshooting, log analysis, and task automation experience.
- Preferred: experience with AWS products and services and programming languages such as Python, Java, and C++.
