Responsibilities
- Design, build, deploy, monitor, and iterate on end-to-end product features with a frontend focus.
- Build KYC and KYB onboarding flows involving forms, document upload, ID capture, selfie, and liveness functionality.
- Develop experiences for web browsers, mobile devices, customer applications, SDKs, and the case management product.
- Build the backend APIs and data changes required to support frontend features.
- Write maintainable, well-tested code and improve product performance and stability on low-end devices and slow networks.
- Debug production issues, participate in code reviews, and improve engineering and release practices.
- Collaborate with founders, product, design, compliance, and customer success teams to solve user and compliance problems.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of professional experience building and shipping production software.
- Strong TypeScript and React experience, including frontend performance and state management.
- Strong HTML and CSS skills with responsive, mobile-first layout experience.
- Experience building REST APIs with a backend language such as Python or Node.js and working with relational databases.
- Ability to own features end to end from ambiguous requirements through production.
- Good product and UX judgment, strong debugging and problem-solving skills, comfort with unfamiliar codebases, and clear communication.
- Preferred experience includes mobile web, camera or media APIs, cross-browser issues, Flutter, React Native, SDKs and libraries, web performance, frontend testing tools, FinTech, RegTech, payments, identity verification, AWS, CI/CD, and Docker.
