Responsibilities
- Interface with program team members, technical writers, and engineering technicians as needed.
- Write clean, consistent, and well-documented code.
- Implement, test, and maintain code for internal customers.
- Ensure code meets end-user requirements.
- Collaborate with developers to integrate new projects with existing applications and systems.
- Provide operational support for existing systems.
Requirements
- Be a Utah State University student majoring in computer science, management information systems, or a related field.
- Have at least one year of school remaining.
- Demonstrate some proficiency in programming languages, Jira, Jira Service Management, relational databases, SQL, data modeling, and database design.
- Have technical skills in programming, designing, systems development, and testing.
- Have introductory knowledge of software development processes, including version control, peer reviews, and documentation standards.
- Possess strong written and verbal interpersonal and communication skills.
- Be able to work independently with mentoring and as part of a collaborative team.
- Be reliable, responsible, and have a strong work ethic.
- Be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or other U.S. person.
