Responsibilities

Interface with program team members, technical writers, and engineering technicians as needed.
Write clean, consistent, and well-documented code.
Implement, test, and maintain code for internal customers.
Ensure code meets end-user requirements.
Collaborate with developers to integrate new projects with existing applications and systems.
Provide operational support for existing systems.

Be a Utah State University student majoring in computer science, management information systems, or a related field.
Have at least one year of school remaining.
Demonstrate some proficiency in programming languages, Jira, Jira Service Management, relational databases, SQL, data modeling, and database design.
Have technical skills in programming, designing, systems development, and testing.
Have introductory knowledge of software development processes, including version control, peer reviews, and documentation standards.
Possess strong written and verbal interpersonal and communication skills.
Be able to work independently with mentoring and as part of a collaborative team.
Be reliable, responsible, and have a strong work ethic.
Be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or other U.S. person.

On-the-job training and mentoring from professional software engineering staff.
