Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, deploy, and support Java-based applications and microservices.
Develop and maintain REST APIs, file-processing solutions, and payment-processing services.
Participate in solution design, code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support.
Troubleshoot complex production issues involving application integrations, databases, middleware, and cloud platforms.
Support highly available production systems and participate in on-call support rotations.
Collaborate with business analysts, testers, architects, and stakeholders to deliver solutions.
Maintain technical documentation, developer standards, troubleshooting guides, and onboarding materials.
Contribute to Agile delivery processes and continuous improvement initiatives.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, REST APIs, JSON, and microservices.
Experience with incoming and outgoing file processing and distributed application development.
At least 1 year of experience with Google Cloud Platform or similar cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure.
At least 1 year of experience with NoSQL databases, preferably Google Cloud Bigtable, Cassandra, MongoDB, DynamoDB, or similar technologies.
At least 1 year of experience developing cloud-native applications and scalable distributed systems.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and SDLC skills, with the ability to work independently.
Preferred qualifications include 7+ years developing and deploying Spring Boot microservices, CI/CD pipeline experience, and Agile delivery experience.
Preferred experience includes Google Cloud Platform services, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Maven, Jenkins, SOAP/XML, SQL and NoSQL databases, and monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, or Zenoss.
Experience in fintech, banking, financial services, payment engines, payment hubs, payment operations, settlements, reconciliation, ACH, or wire transfers is desirable.

Office-based workplace with potential flexible work arrangements combining in-office and work-from-home time, as determined by the hiring team.
Participation in on-call support rotations is part of the role.
Exempt position and therefore not eligible for overtime pay.
