Responsibilities
- Build core applied-layer agent infrastructure powering Monk’s agentic products.
- Design, ship, maintain, and evolve financial architecture and foundational backend systems.
- Develop systems that scale across thousands of B2B payment use cases.
- Own monitoring, alerting, reliability, and incident response.
- Ship production changes quickly and improve customer outcomes daily.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience building and operating production backend systems.
- Strong TypeScript and Node.js experience.
- Experience with Postgres, AWS, data pipelines, and observability.
- Ability to make architectural tradeoffs, rebuild systems when necessary, and own infrastructure problems end to end.
- Interest in applied AI and knowing when to use or avoid AI tools.
