Base Salary
$75k - $112k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop embedded software using plant modeling and Model Based Software Development practices.
- Collaborate with hardware development teams to create plant models and understand hardware physics.
- Develop robust embedded control algorithms.
- Implement software unit tests and Model-in-the-Loop and Hardware-in-the-Loop test plans.
- Evaluate, tune, and test product software in test-lab and field environments.
Requirements
- Experience with MATLAB Simulink.
- Understanding of embedded software development.
- Experience with C++ and other programming languages.
- A degree or equivalent related work experience in software/computer, electrical, mechanical, or agricultural engineering is ideally preferred.
- Preferred experience includes plant modeling tools such as Amesim or Simscape, off-highway machinery or drivetrain/powertrain hardware, model-based software development, continuous integration and automated build tools, GitHub workflows, and the J1939 CAN protocol.
