Responsibilities
- Design and develop distributed database components related to HBase.
- Design and develop single-node LSM engine components related to RocksDB.
- Design and implement offline and real-time data architectures for large-scale recommendation systems.
- Build flexible, scalable, stable, and high-performance storage systems and computation models.
- Troubleshoot production systems and implement mechanisms and tools to improve overall system stability.
- Build distributed offline and online storage, batch processing, and stream processing frameworks for massive data and large-scale business systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience building scalable systems.
- Source-level proficiency in common big data processing systems such as Spark or Flink.
- Deep understanding of at least one data lake technology such as Hudi, Iceberg, or Delta Lake is highly valuable.
- Knowledge of HDFS principles and familiarity with Parquet or ORC are preferred.
- Experience with data warehousing modeling is preferred.
- Proficiency in Java, C++, and Scala, with strong coding and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with big data systems such as Hive, HBase, or Kudu is a plus.
- Experience managing large-scale data in the petabyte range is advantageous.
