Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and evolve security architecture and controls across Snowflake’s products.
- Lead threat modeling, secure design reviews, and security architecture assessments.
- Build and scale security tooling and automation to improve security outcomes.
- Partner with engineering teams to embed security into workflows.
- Translate security risks into actionable guidance for development teams.
- Influence and mentor engineers within Product Security and the broader organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of experience in security or software engineering.
- Expertise in areas such as AppSec, threat modeling, and secure architecture.
- Experience with distributed, multi-component systems and third-party APIs.
- Fluency in SQL, Python, Go, or other programming languages.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with a track record of influencing partners.
- Ability to drive projects independently from concept to delivery.
