Responsibilities
- Maintain and develop multiple production web applications using modern Angular and SvelteKit.
- Write performant, optimized frontend code that scales with the user base.
- Contribute to automated testing and improve regression coverage.
- Participate in code reviews and help establish effective development processes.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, UX Designers, and QA teams on feature delivery.
- Debug issues across the frontend/backend boundary and integrate APIs.
- Deploy features through the QA, pre-production, and production environments.
- Use AI tools including LLMs, GitHub Copilot, and custom agents to accelerate development.
- Provide accurate estimates and deliver on commitments.
Requirements
- At least 3–4 years of focused, continuous experience in JavaScript or similar languages.
- Strong modern JavaScript fundamentals, including ES6+, and TypeScript proficiency.
- Backend experience with Node.js, plus strong CSS, DOM, API integration, CORS, testing, Git, performance optimization, and responsive design skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with LLMs and use AI tools in development.
- Experience or interest in learning Angular or SvelteKit.
- Nice-to-have experience includes Express.js or similar Node frameworks, Docker, web services, Playwright or Selenium, gRPC, Protocol Buffers, GitHub Actions, AWS services, and Test-Driven Development.
- Ability to work collaboratively, focus on quality, and provide reliable estimates.
