Responsibilities
- Design and build full-stack capabilities supporting AI initiatives across Keeper’s product portfolio.
- Develop backend services, APIs, integration layers, shared services, and frontend experiences for AI-enabled functionality.
- Integrate LLM-powered services, agents, tool-calling workflows, and related AI capabilities into secure production environments.
- Partner with AI and product engineering teams to translate model, agent, and platform requirements into production software.
- Troubleshoot cross-product issues involving APIs, authentication, authorization, backend services, user interfaces, and data flows.
- Improve execution safety, reliability, observability, performance, latency, and operational behavior of AI-integrated features.
- Contribute to architecture reviews, technical designs, code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD workflows, and technical documentation.
- Use AI-assisted development tools for coding, debugging, research, testing, and documentation.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong full-stack development experience across backend and frontend systems, including production backend services, APIs, and distributed applications.
- Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript and frontend frameworks such as React.
- Strong experience with at least one backend language such as Rust, Java, Kotlin, C#, Go, or Python; Rust is strongly preferred.
- Experience working across multiple codebases, integrating complex systems, and building production software in SaaS, cybersecurity, or enterprise environments.
- Understanding of software architecture, authentication, authorization, data flows, secure application design, and secure software development practices.
- Experience with Git-based workflows, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to understand unfamiliar systems and contribute production code across different product areas.
- Strong written and verbal communication and effective collaboration across AI, Product, and Engineering teams.
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to use modern AI-assisted development tools effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with LLM-powered capabilities, AI APIs, agentic workflows, tool calling, prompt engineering, context management, Model Context Protocol, Python-based AI services, platform or shared services, production AI reliability considerations, cybersecurity software, AWS, microservices, event-driven architecture, distributed systems, Windows, or Linux.
