Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application development, testing, and deployment.
- Integrate security controls, vulnerability management, compliance checks, and automated security testing into pipeline workflows.
- Configure and manage source control, code scanning, static and dynamic analysis, dependency management, packaging, merging, and artifact management tools.
- Integrate functional, regression, unit, integration, and security test suites into pipelines and ensure results are reported correctly.
- Manage version control processes, branching strategies, merge workflows, and traceability across development and release streams.
- Monitor and improve pipeline performance, deployment efficiency, build times, and bottlenecks.
- Provide hands-on pipeline support during application build, testing, rollout, and release activities.
- Troubleshoot pipeline failures, environment issues, and deployment blockers.
- Support environment provisioning and infrastructure-as-code activities in coordination with the infrastructure team.
- Maintain pipeline documentation, tooling configurations, operational runbooks, and continuous improvement recommendations.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience in a hands-on DevSecOps engineering role.
- Proficiency with CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
- Strong experience with Git, source code control, version management, branching strategies, and merge request workflows.
- Experience with code quality and security scanning tools such as SonarQube, Checkmarx, Snyk, or OWASP ZAP.
- Experience with artifact and code packaging tools such as Nexus or JFrog Artifactory.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Working knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP and their native DevSecOps services.
- Understanding of automated test integration, including unit, integration, and regression testing.
- Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or equivalent monitoring and observability tools.
- Experience in banking, financial services, or similarly regulated environments is advantageous.
