Base Salary
$148k - $275k/yr
Responsibilities
- Work across React, Redux, Ruby, Rails, Postgres, and potentially Scala, Python, and Go to solve customer problems.
- Contribute across frontend, backend, API, and data-processing layers.
- Collaborate daily with Product Managers, Designers, Operations, and other Engineers to shape product direction.
- Share engineering knowledge and help teammates improve their craft.
- Contribute to the psychological safety and healthy relationships of the team.
- Help interview and hire other Engineers.
Requirements
- At least three years of professional Software Engineering experience.
- Experience with a couple of the languages in Middesk’s stack, including React, Redux, Ruby, Rails, Postgres, Scala, Python, or Go, is preferred.
- Prior experience at a high-growth, venture-backed startup or experience founding a company is preferred.
- Understanding of SaaS business fundamentals, including annual contract value, customer acquisition cost, and annual recurring revenue, and the ability to connect prior work to these metrics.
- Ability to work within commuting distance of the San Francisco or New York City office.
