Base Salary

$86k - $139k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and create engineering specifications for software applications and programs.
  • Write maintainable code that follows coding standards and conduct code reviews.
  • Explore and implement technical solutions that support functionality, scalability, and performance.
  • Participate in Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, story creation, estimation, and sprint execution.
  • Create and maintain tasks and status updates in tools such as RTC or Jira.
  • Monitor work against production schedules and report progress, blockers, and technical issues.
  • Mentor associate software engineers and support their skills and leadership development.
  • Apply AI and automation strategies throughout the software development life cycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field is required; a master's degree is preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience with algorithms, data structures, design patterns, scalable systems, and at least one modern programming language.
  • At least 3 years of experience with two or more of React, Angular v4+, NodeJS, NoSQL databases, HTML5, CSS, Google Cloud Platform, or Amazon Web Services.
  • At least 3 years of experience with web services technologies such as REST, HTTPS, and JSON.
  • Preferred qualifications include 5 years of programming, system architecture, technology systems, healthcare application development, translating designs and user stories into applications, and producing fault-tolerant and maintainable code.
  • Experience with mainframe technologies, open systems, databases, DevOps and CI/CD practices, AI/ML concepts, Agile/Scrum, and software engineering life-cycle practices.
  • Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, ownership, adaptability, user-experience, and mentoring skills.
  • U.S. citizenship is required due to contractual and access requirements.
