Responsibilities
- Complete technical projects independently and lead other engineers.
- Review customer specifications and requirements and develop supporting designs.
- Design and write embedded software code.
- Develop, document, and support testing of products, systems, and subsystems.
- Provide budget, cost, and schedule input for design assignments.
- Document component and subsystem specifications.
- Specify and evaluate supplier subsystems and services.
- Apply software engineering and computer science principles to create project-based software solutions.
- Plan and review test cases, participate in code reviews, and collaborate with systems engineers, software architects, customers, and other technical staff.
- Communicate clearly with company personnel and customers and support the organization’s mission, values, and culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of industry experience delivering high-quality applications.
- Programming experience in one or more of C, C++, C#, and Java.
- Strong fundamentals in algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis.
- Practical experience working with embedded hardware.
- Experience with object-oriented design and development and formal software development processes.
- Experience with Linux/Unix and/or Windows.
- Experience with software version control systems, preferably Git.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work independently and in a team.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% as necessary.

- The position offers a stated base salary range of $107,089.00 to $144,570.00 per year; additional bonuses, equity awards, and overtime may be available where applicable.
