Responsibilities
- Take technical responsibility for defined application areas and components.
- Analyze complex business and technical requirements and develop sustainable solution concepts.
- Contribute to application architecture and modernization toward modern architectures, APIs, cloud connectivity, and .NET.
- Implement development tasks independently from requirements analysis through tested and documented delivery.
- Ensure the quality, maintainability, performance, error resolution, and long-term stability of changes.
- Support other developers with analysis, solution development, and implementation.
- Collaborate with product management, support, consulting, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Use and critically evaluate AI tools for analysis, implementation, test automation, documentation, and debugging.
- Improve development processes, quality assurance practices, technical standards, and application quality.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience.
- Very strong knowledge of Delphi, SQL, and object-oriented software development.
- Experience maintaining, evolving, and modernizing complex business applications and established software systems.
- Ability to quickly understand existing codebases, architectures, and business processes.
- Knowledge of Clean Code, SOLID, KISS, DRY, and established design patterns.
- Experience with system integrations, REST APIs, modern version-control systems such as Git, code reviews, automated tests, and regression-prevention measures.
- Initial knowledge of .NET and willingness to actively contribute to future modernization efforts.
- Practical experience with GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or comparable AI tools.
- Strong quality awareness, independent and structured working style, pragmatism, technical diligence, and willingness to learn.
