Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, deploy, operate, and support full-stack software solutions end to end.
- Contribute to platform enablement, architecture decisions, code reviews, engineering standards, and requirements analysis.
- Build custom AI agents for task automation, decision support, summarization, multi-step reasoning, and guided execution.
- Design and integrate Model Context Protocol systems to connect models, tools, agents, and capabilities.
- Integrate internal and external AI services, including LLMs, embeddings, search, and tools, through APIs.
- Develop and operate RAG-based systems and harden AI components for reliability, resiliency, latency, performance, security, permissions, data boundaries, observability, and maintainability.
- Use AI-assisted development tools for code generation, refactoring, testing, and documentation while validating and refining generated output.
- Design and run distributed systems on Kubernetes, including message-driven architectures, horizontal scaling, fault tolerance, GPU workloads, and multi-tenant workloads.
Requirements
- Strong full-stack software engineering fundamentals, including object-oriented design, clean code, testing strategies, and maintainability.
- Proven experience building and operating production-grade backend or full-stack systems with API design, service integration, and data persistence.
- Ability to design scalable architectures while balancing performance, reliability, security, and developer productivity.
- Experience with cloud-native environments, CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments, and modern operational practices.
- Understanding of data modeling and relational and non-relational storage technologies.
- Experience owning software from design through lifecycle support and collaborating across engineering and business teams.
- Experience with C#, ASP.NET, Angular, SQL, NoSQL databases, and Kubernetes-based platforms.
- Experience designing custom AI agents beyond simple chat interfaces, including custom-agent skills.
- AI-native experience with prompt engineering, vibe coding, context-window management, and chain-of-thought design.
- Experience integrating systems through MCP or equivalent structured agent and tool interfaces, with strong prompt-design and tool-invocation skills.
- Hands-on experience with RAG-based systems and the ability to reason about hallucination risk, failure modes, permissions, and guardrails.
- Preferred: experience applying AI-enabled development practices, refining AI-generated output, building interoperable AI systems, and operationalizing AI in high-reliability environments.
- Preferred: experience designing and running distributed systems on Kubernetes, including message-driven architectures, horizontal scaling, fault tolerance, GPU workloads, and multi-tenant workloads.
