Base Salary
$154k - $232k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Pulumi across AWS GovCloud environments.
- Develop automation for security controls, compliance evidence collection, and audit readiness for SOC 2 and FedRAMP.
- Own platform engineering initiatives involving CI/CD infrastructure, secrets management, and developer tooling.
- Build and maintain internal security tooling and platform integrations.
- Contribute to platform security, network segmentation, and access-control architecture.
- Improve observability, alerting, incident-response infrastructure, and platform reliability.
- Participate in on-call rotations and lead remediation of platform and security incidents.
- Partner with engineering teams to embed security and compliance requirements into the software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of software or infrastructure engineering experience in production environments.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Go, TypeScript, or another general-purpose programming language.
- Hands-on experience with Pulumi, Terraform, or an equivalent infrastructure-as-code tool.
- Experience operating AWS infrastructure, including IAM, networking, and security services.
- Familiarity with SOC 2, NIST 800-53, or FedRAMP security control frameworks.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
- Preferred qualifications include AWS GovCloud or FedRAMP-authorized environment experience, ITAR-controlled or defense/aerospace software experience, container security, Kubernetes or ECS hardening, security scanning, SAST/DAST, vulnerability management, compliance automation platforms, and SSO/SCIM identity-management patterns.
- Must satisfy applicable ITAR work-authorization requirements and complete employment eligibility, reference, and background checks.
