Responsibilities
- Design, build, harden, and operate production-grade agentic AI applications connected to enterprise systems of record.
- Serve as the technical lead embedded in a small multifunctional pod and move solutions from ambiguous business problem through prototype to production.
- Iterate rapidly with stakeholders through one- to two-week build cycles.
- Own security, reliability, scalability, observability, authorization, and safe governed write-back end to end.
- Model, govern, document, and secure data in Microsoft Fabric with lineage and access controls suitable for audit.
- Choose appropriately between low-code, agent-builder platforms, and custom software development.
- Define reusable technical patterns, components, and guardrails for wider team adoption.
- Explain architecture and feasibility decisions to non-technical business stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience building production agentic or multi-agent AI systems serving real users.
- Strong command of state management, concurrency, idempotency, and authorization for systems acting on behalf of multiple users.
- Substantial production software development experience in Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, C#, or Java.
- Hands-on experience integrating enterprise APIs and data platforms, including safe read and write paths and failure handling.
- Knowledge of retrieval-augmented generation, prompt and context design, agent orchestration, tool use, and MCP.
- Hands-on command of a major cloud platform, ideally Azure, including provisioning, configuration, deployment, security, and operations.
- Ability to rapidly prototype with AI-assisted development and fast iteration.
- Senior individual-contributor judgment and autonomy, including independent architecture decisions and communication with non-technical stakeholders.
- Preferred: Microsoft Fabric experience with Lakehouse, Warehouse, Data Factory, Real-Time Intelligence, Power BI, and OneLake, or a comparable enterprise data platform.
- Preferred: experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Azure AI Foundry, Lyzr, or Moveworks.
- Preferred: integration experience with Oracle HCM, SAP, Workday, Salesforce, Dynamics 365, or ServiceNow.
- Preferred: familiarity with identity and access management, data classification and residency, responsible AI policy, and model-output evaluation.
- Preferred: background combining software engineering with consulting, business transformation, or a Corporate Function discipline.
